Google Play issues

Today I got an email from Google informing that my Google Play developer account was terminated. Both 3D and 2D versions of Shoujo City for Android are gone.

I don’t know why the account was terminated – I got a generic auto-generated email mentioning that my account was violating Google Play policies, without any details and explanation. Until today, there were no prior notifications about any issues with my games.

I apologize to all people who played Shoujo City 3D and 2D on Android and were waiting for future updates. At this point I don’t know what to do about this.

UPDATE (November 3, 2018): my developer account was restored after an appeal. To tell the truth, I didn’t think it would be possible, since every story I found on the Internet said that all appeals for restoring banned developer accounts are always rejected. I still didn’t get any explanations for why my account was terminated, or why it was restored, and don’t know if there was some issue with one of published games or this was an error.

Unless you have some friends in Google Play management, there is nothing you or anybody else can do about it, unfortunately. Big companies with money and business links can always solve issues like these through personal contacts. For small indie developers there is no way to even know the reason for a ban, to say nothing about having a chance to fix something.

Is that a question? Every device that meets the minimum requirements (Android 6, 2 GB RAM) will be compatible, disregardful of brand/manufacturer.

Gacha machines were used to buy underwear. After the recent Google Play & App Store issues I decided to remove everything they could consider even remotely objectionable in the future. I don’t know if changing one’s underwear can be considered offensive by somebody, but that’s the only thing I could think of.

So, only in steam underwear gacha still remain playable ??? My suggestion, why not make the underwear changing feature as a premium or full game, maybe that way could prevent any report for inappropriate content or stuffs, or make that underwear system exclusive as for steam app only ???

Yes, underwear will be available only in Steam/PC version of the game. Recently there also were troubles with iOS version due to “objectionable content”. That’s why I had to remove from mobile versions of the game all content that could be potentially considered objectionable by somebody. It’s better to lose one feature than having the entire game banned for good.

Hii, is there a reason to why Shoujo City 2D isn’t on newer devices with Google Play anymore as of 2023? (when I searched for the game)

I doubt that was the problem. One of my friends had his app removed randomly and all he did was put a link to the privacy policy on the title screen and all was well. XD
